The Perth Mint runs the Perth Mint Certificate Program (PMCP), offering clients the opportunity to purchase allocated, unallocated and pool allocated precious metals, with storage and vaulting options at the Mint’s refinery in Australia.
The PMCP enables you to safely trade and store precious metals through The Perth Mint’s exclusive network of authorised distributors, of which Core Bullion Traders is one.

How do I sell my Perth Mint Certificates?
Selling your precious metals holdings in the Perth Mint Certificate Program is straightforward. When you wish to sell all (or a portion of your metals) you simply send the Perth Mint certificate that you wish to liquidate in to our office.
On the reverse side of the Certificate you will need to complete the Transfer section – we can talk you through this process on the phone.
Supply us with a note/letter detailing what you wish to sell along with your bank account details.
When the trade is completed we will transfer the funds to your nominated bank account – you should allow 3-5 business days for the entire process.

The Perth Mint have structured the program so the certificates would not be a bearer instrument and therefore not be deemed a security or financial instrument in most jurisdictions.
No. The certificate program is flexible*. You can buy any quantity of allocated bars on a certificate. For pool allocated or unallocated metals you can hold ounces down the three decimal places.
* Minimum purchase amounts apply.
In addition to buying the precious metals and payment of any transaction fees and fabrication charges, there is a $50 certificate fee regardless of the size of the certificate.
Breakdown of commission and fees:
$10,000 to $50,000 – 3.5%
$50,000 to $100,000 – 2.5%
$100,000+ – 1.8%
It is very easy to liquidate your Perth Mint Certificate. When you want to sell contact us and we will send you a liquidation form. Complete the form and send back to us along with the certificate.
Funds will be wired to your bank account within 5 business days.
Core Bullion Traders charge 1.25% on all Perth Mint Certificate sales transactions.
Yes – Perth Mint Certificates are replaced by filing a lost certificate declaration form with your distributor and paying a re-issuance fee. We at Core Bullion Traders can assist you with any issues on lost or missing Perth Mint Certificates.
All Perth Mint Certificates are legal documents with unique certificate numbers reflecting the legal ownership of the metal by the certificate owner. When issued to a pension trust, the certificates are issued in the name of the pension fund and registered to the pensioneer trustee.
